HomeMy WebLinkAboutOCWDPFAS Treatment Project Main Street Treatment Facility October 18, 2022 Why Are We Here •2020 CA Water Resource Control Board lowered the PFAS Response Levels (RL’s) to 10 ppt for PFOA and 40 ppt for PFOS. •Out of 11 active groundwater wells, 5 are impacted by PFAS and proactively shut-down. •Lost production from groundwater wells has been replaced by imported water (45% of City’s water supply in 2021 was imported water).
