WILLKOM, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR HoNoRiNG OUR PAST SUBJECT: REVISIONS TO GENERAL PLAN ANNUAL REPORT DATA— ITEM #4 Staff is recommending a modification to the housing unit data included in the Staff Report, General Plan Annual Report, and Appendix A - 2022 Housing Element Annual Progress Report. The modifications are necessary as a result of the following: 1) Formulas included in the 2022 Housing Element Annual Progress Report excel spreadsheet provided by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) were programmed incorrectly which resulted in inaccurate calculations for total housing activity numbers, and 2) Inadvertent omission of building permits issued in 2022 for The Landing at Tustin Legacy development (68 units total added). The proposed modifications are summarized in the table below, which appears as Table 2 in the Staff Report and General Plan Annual Report. The corrected data will be reflected in the reports and data transmitted to the City Council and HCD.
