HomeMy WebLinkAboutZAA Action Minutes 03-16-23 �1�1� ACTION MINUTES COUNCIL CHAMBER &VIDEO CONFERENCE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR MEETING MARCH 16, 2023 CALL TO ORDER: 10:00 a.m. ROLL CALL: Justina Willkom, Zoning Administrator Irma Huitron, Assistant Director— Planning Raymond Barragan, Principal Planner Vera Hurtado, Executive Assistant PUBLIC CONCERNS: Vera confirmed no public concerns received. CONSENT CALENDAR: None PUBLIC HEARING: Opened at 10:00 a.m. 1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP) 2023-0006 APPLICANT: MONIQUE MARCONI/ MARCONI AUTOMOTIVE MUSEUM & FOUNDATION FOR KIDS LOCATION: 1302 Industrial Drive, Tustin, CA 92780 ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: This project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to Section 15311 (Class 11) of Title 14, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations (Guidelines for the California Environmental Quality Act). RECOMMENDATION: That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 23-001 approving Conditional Use Permit 2023-0006 authorizing the establishment if a master sign plan that would allow replacement of an existing wall sign with a 116 square foot primary wall sign that exceeds the maximum allowable sign area in the zone at 1302 Industrial Drive. Zoning Administrator Action Minutes— March 16, 2023 a e 12 Barragan presented a brief Power Point slide show which provided an overview of the applicant's request. The Zoning Administrator asked the applicant, Monique Marconi, who was in the audience with the owner,John Marconi,if she had reviewed the Conditions of Approval and if she was in agreement with the Conditions of Approval. Ms. Marconi confirmed she did review the Conditions of Approval and she was in agreement with the Conditions of Approval. Ms. Hurtado confirmed there was no public input received. The Zoning Administrator stated the size of the sign was appropriate for the building and she did not have any concerns with the request. The Zoning Administrator adopted ZAA 23-001 approving CUP 2023-0006 authorizing the project. The Public Hearing was closed at 10:06 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None. The meeting was adjourned at 10:06 a.m. The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
