This year, we are closer to City of Hope’s vision of democratizing cancer care,” said Annette Morgan, chief administrative officer, City of Hope Orange County 7 City of Hope Orange County answers a call from thousands of patients They were leaving the area at record levels in search of care Before we opened our cancer center, nearly 4,000 were leaving the county We answered the call and we partnered with FivePoint to establish a cancer campus in Irvine 8 CITY OF HOPE ORANGE COUNTY LENNAR FOUNDATION CANCER CENTER OPENED AUGUST 22, 2022 NCI-designated cancer treatment center, connected to the county’s only specialty cancer hospital slated to open in 2025 Four football fields worth of cancer research and treatment Medical, surgical and radiation oncology Clinical research unit providing access to Phase 1–3 clinical trials Infusion center Supportive care and family resource center Cancer prevention, genomics and precision medicine Screenings, diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology Outpatient surgery center Pharmacy and lab 44 standard of care chairs 10 research chairs Integrated space to flex chairs to needs of patients served 9 THANK YOU FOR JOINING US ON OUR TOUR CANCER SPECIALTY HOSPITAL OPENING IN 2025 Three more football fields worth of cancer research and treatment 122,000 square feet 70+ beds both ICU and Medical Surgical Inpatient surgery In July we broke ground on what will be OC’s only hospital focused exclusively on treating and curing cancer It will deepen our capabilities to provide more intensive lifesaving surgeries It’s slated to open in 2025 10  - And when you put these two facilities together, they’ve formed the centerpiece of a regional network This network brings all the scientific and research capabilities from City of Hope closer to home Our patients now have access to more clinical trials that anywhere else in the region They have access to the power and expertise of 1,000 physicians and scientists focused solely on cancer 11 3 THINGS TO REMEMBER Your first shot is your best shot when fighting cancer Get a second opinion with experts in your specific cancer at City of Hope Orange County and ensure you’re getting the right treatment from the start. This includes preventions and screenings even before a cancer diagnosis can occur.
