ZONING ADMINISTRATOR MEETING
NOVEMBER 16, 2023
CALL TO ORDER: 1:00 P.M.
ROLL CALL: Justina Willkom, Zoning Administrator
PUBLIC CONCERNS: Vera confirmed no public input received.
CONSENT CALENDAR: None
PUBLIC HEARING:
1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 2023-0015
APPLICANT: Tadanori Akasaka, Hironori Craft Ramen
LOCATION: 13812 Newport Avenue, Unit 102
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:
This project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to Section 15301 (Class 1) of the
California Code of Regulations (Guidelines for the California Environmental Quality
Act)
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action (ZAA) 23-006
approving CUP 2023-0015 to authorize the sale of beer and wine (Type 41) in
conjunction with a restaurant located at 13812 Newport Avenue, Unit 102.
Hurtado confirmed no public input received for the item.
Wong provided a brief Power Point presentation, which included an overview of the
applicant's request.

Willkom asked the applicant (Mr. Akasaka) if he had reviewed the staff report and if
he was in agreement with the Conditions of Approval. The applicant confirmed he
read the report and that he was in agreement with the Conditions of Approval.
Public Input closed at 1:05 p.m.
Willkom adopted ZAA 23-006, approving CUP 2023-15,to authorize the sale of beer
and wine (Type 41) in conjunction with a restaurant located at 13812 Newport
Avenue, Unit 102. Willkom congratulated the applicant.

ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:
