The 2023 Year in Review report highlights activities under the following categories: • Current Planning - Industrial, commercial, mixed -use, and residential development and projects under review. • Advance Planning - General Plan and code amendments, historic preservation, and Community Development Block Grant activities. • Performance Metrics - Code Enforcement, Building Division, Planning Division and Planning Concierge Services. • Streamline Tustin Initiative — Several program components and programs reducing project review time, permit issuance time, and more. RECOMMENDATION: That the City Council receive and file the report. FISCAL IMPACT: None. CORRELATION TO THE STRATEGIC PLAN: The Year in Review report contributes to Goal E of the Strategic Plan in Organizational Excellence and Customer Service. It is staff's desire to keep the community informed on the status of recent projects which are progressing throughout the City. Scoping Advance Planning Downtown Commercial Core & Red Hill Avenue Specific Plar Assessment Report analyzing opportunities to align DCCSP and RHASP with real estate market. Presented to the City Council on December 5, 2023. Implementation of policy options on -going.
