HomeMy WebLinkAboutZA ACTION AGENDA 3-23-05 ACTION AGENDA ZONING ADMINISTRATOR MEETING MARCH 23, 2005 ..- CALL TO ORDER: 10:30 a.m. Community Development Department Library ROLL CALL: Dana Ogdon, Zoning Administrator Staff present: Eloise Harris, Recording Secretary PUBLIC CONCERNS: (Limited to 3 minutes per person for items not on the agenda) CONSENT CALENDAR: No Items on Consent Calendar PUBLIC HEARINGS: Desian Review 04-030 - Authorization to demolish 4,195 square feet of an existing retail shopping center, conduct a facade remodel, and reconfigure the parking lot. The project is located at 12932 Newport Avenue within the Retail Commercial (C1) zoning district. APPLICANT: PROPERTY OWNER: HUGH ROSE, ARCHITECT L&M PROPERTY MANAGEMENT C/O BILL MUNCE RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 05-003 approving Conditional Use Permit 05-003. The Public Hearing opened at 10:43 a.m. Raymond Floyd, agent for the property owner, indicated the shopping center name will be Tustin Crossings, not Red Hill Shopping Center. The Zoning Administrator discussed the proposed project as it was presently understood and asked Mr. Floyd if he had reviewed the staff report and conditions of approval. Mr. Floyd answered in the affirmative. Zoning Administrator Agenda March 23, 2005 Page 2 The Zoning Administrator asked if there were any other issues the applicant would like to discuss. Mr. Floyd responded in the negative and indicated the applicant will comply with the conditions of approval. The Zoning Administrator indicated that, since no concerns were expressed by mail or in person by members of the public, the project is approved. The Zoning Administrator adopted Zoning Administrator Action 05-003 approving Conditional Use Permit 05-003. REGULAR BUSINESS: No Items on Regular Business ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 10:47 a.m. The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
