Conditional Use Permit 05-011 a request for authorization to re-establish an existing temporarily soil remediation system at an existing service station for two (2) years. The project is located at 14244 Newport Avenue within the General Commercial (CG) zoning district. APPLICANT! DELTA ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS, INC. ATTN: AARON BAIRD PROPERTY OWNER: BP WEST COAST PRODUCTS, LLC. RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 05-016 approving Conditional Use Permit 05-012. The Public Hearing opened at 10:34 a.m. Clare Narcisa Boeru, the engineer for the project was in attendance representing the applicant. Zoning Administrator Action Agenda August 29, 2005 Page 2 The Acting Zoning Administrator introduced himself and the staff, asked if the applicant had read the staff report and understood the conditions of approval; Applicant responded affirmatively. Applicant asked if staff's request to install wood slats was because it was to replace what already existed, or if they could use the least expensive weather resistant vinyl material. The Acting Zoning Administrator modified Condition 1.10 to read: "Prior to building permit issuance, the applicant shall install all new wood slats, or slats of a different material approved by the Community Development Department, in the existing equipment fencing enclosure to ensure the entire enclosure maintains a uniform and new appearance." The Acting Zoning Administrator adopted Zoning Administrator Action 05-016 approving Conditional Use Permit 05-012. The Acting Zoning Administrator stated that this item could be appealed by anyone within seven (7) calendar days of the date of the Action to the Planning Commission. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 10:40 a.m. The date of the next regular meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
