Comprised of the OC Sheriff's Regional Training Academy building, outdoor training areas, parking and a Public Safety Institute building. SANTA ANA COLLEGE L. 3 4 Community College District Site is currently developed to 80% of it's original concept - approximately 12 acres have been developed and -3.25 acres remain undeveloped. Given the new challenges facing law enforcement and first responders, new facility improvement concepts have emerged and are being considered for the undeveloped -3.25 acres of property. 1 SANTA ANA COLLEGE 5 Community College District The District and Santa Ana College is undertaking a feasibility study to explore the best educational use of the undeveloped portion of the site which may include: Fire Technology/Academy Training Biddle (physical agility) test preparation Fitness and skills assessment area, Strength Et Conditioning, Et Running Track Wellness facilities Instructional classrooms/labs Cyber Security Training Disaster/Critical Incident Preparedness/Response The District and Santa Ana College continue to explore funding opportunities with its partners and through available grants for these highly needed programs that serve the community, cities and Orange County.
