Good evening Council,
I am writing in regards to the request by Tustin Development 40 LLC to waive the In -lieu fee for
affordable housing inclusion. I believe this request is in bad faith, seeing as we are currently in a
housing crisis and the developers do not need to be rewarded for making a profit of the backs of
Tustin residents who are in need of better housing options. Asking for the fee back when other
developments are waived is greedy and hurts the City of Tustin, making it look like they have no
regard for families who are struggling every day. Tustin Development's homes sold fine, they should
not need any of their money back as they achieved their goal - selling homes. If they want the fee
back, they need to include affordable units. Do not cave to their demands, thank you.
