Subject: Oppose Return of Fees to Developer of The Jessup
Dear Honorable Mayor and Tustin City Council,
I am a long time resident of Tustin and am writing to oppose the return of $289,000 to the developer who
built The Jessup in -lieu of 2 out of the 40 homes being affordable housing. Those funds have already been
paid to the city as agreed and should be earmarked for affordable housing units for the city.
There is no benefit to the city to return these funds that were already paid as agreed. Please reconsider
and keep that money in the cityfor affordable housing units. At a time when the economy is struggling
and inflation is high, those funds should be used to benefit the residents of Tustin who could use some
housing support.
I have copied some of my neighbors to make them aware of this crucial vote.
