Item: 5. SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 1564 — FIRST
AMENDMENT TO DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT 2022-0002 (THE JESSUP AT 17802 —
17842 IRVINE BOULEVARD) Adoption of Ordinance No. 1564 approves the first amendment to
Development Agreement 2022-0002, an agreement between the City of Tustin and Tustin 40
Development LLC for "The Jessup" residential project. The amendment eliminates the owner's
requirement to pay the Voluntary Workforce Housing Incentive Program In -Lieu Fee.
eComment: I do not approve of giving our money back to the developer of the Jessup project.
This is OUR money, the money of Tustin's citizens and there are plenty of useful things to do
with that money instead of enriching a developer who is trying to have it all and escape the rules.
