eComment: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Tustin has served as a cornerstone of youth development
for over half a century for the Tustin community, providing: • Safe, inclusive spaces for hundreds
of youth annually • Evidence -based programs in academics, arts, and wellness - Critical support
for low-income families and at -risk youth Our mission aligns with CDBG goals by reducing
barriers to opportunity through programs that foster: V Educational success V Workforce
readiness V Community cohesion Community Needs 1. Academic Success Program • After -
school tutoring & STEM initiatives serving 1000+ K-12 students • Results: 92% of participants
improved GPA; 100% graduated on time 2. Workforce Readiness (Teens) • First Job Prep:
Resume workshops, internships, and empowerment programs 3. Family Resource Center
Food distribution, parenting classes, and housing assistance referrals - Served hundreds of
families annually 4. Safe Summer • Free summer meals Why Invest in Our Youth? • Every youth
invested in statistically has shown to reduce crime up to 9.60%, improved earnings, and health
savings (America's Promise Alliance) Closing Appeal We urge the Councils support to: 1. Break
cycles of poverty through proven youth interventions 2. Strengthen community infrastructure via
