eComment: Bryan Lake Executive Director Family Promise of Orange County We housed over
25 families at House of Ruth in 2024, Over 50+events were held, which included: workshops,
group activities, and resident discussions. 100% of families who entered the shelter with no
employment found employment within 2 months of being at House of Ruth. We held shower and
laundry services on Tuesdays and Thursdays for nonresidents. We had a mobile vision provider
come out to serve families giving them free eye exams. Through House of Ruth, we have served
250+ families through the community resource room. Through our partnership with St. Paul's
Episcopal Church, our mobile shower trailer provided 1,742 showers to individuals in 2024. We
are very grateful to the City of Tustin for their support for families that are stuggling with
homelessness through our compassionate programs and services.
