At their June 10, 2024, meeting, the Public Art Commission identified a public art sculpture
at Centennial Park as a priority project for the 2024-2025 Fiscal Year, following completion
of the Centennial Park Handball Wall Mural. The specific location chosen for the project is
adjacent to the playground area in the west entry to the park. To move the project forward,
the Commission approved a Call for Artists at their February 19, 2025 meeting, and
requested that staff post it on the Call For Entry (CaFE) website to solicit artist submissions.
