HomeMy WebLinkAboutAction Agenda ACTION AGENDA ZONING ADMINISTRATOR MEETING JANUARY 23, 2006 **** ROLL CALL: 10:35 a.m. Community Development Department Conference Room Dana Ogdon, Zoning Administrator CALL TO ORDER: Staff present: Matt West, Associate Planner Eloise Harris, Recording Secretary PUBLIC CONCERNS: (Limited to 3 minutes per person for items not on the agenda) CONSENT CALENDAR: No Items on Consent Calendar The Acting Zoning Administrator introduced himself and the staff and asked the attendees to do the same. Doug Couper, representing The Home Depot, and Dean Alstrup, representing The Irvine Company, introduced themselves. PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 05-045 - Authorization for the display and sales of garden center products and seasonal items at an existing Home Depot located at 2782 EI Camino Real, within the Planned Community Mixed Use (PCMU) zoning district. APPLICANT: THE HOME DEPOT ATTN: GREG GEORGE PROPERTY OWNER: THE IRVINE COMPANY, RETAIL PROPERTIES ATTN: PETE BLUMER RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 06-001 approving Conditional Use Permit 05-045. The Public Hearing opened at 10:37 a.m. The Acting Zoning Administrator asked the attendees if they had reviewed the staff report and conditions of approval. Mr. Couper and Mr. Alstrup answered in the affirmative. Zoning Administrator Agenda January 23, 2006 Page 2 The Acting Zoning Administrator asked if the two gentlemen were in agreement with the conditions. Mr. Couper and Mr. Alstrup answered in the affirmative. The Acting Zoning Administrator asked if either of them had any questions. Mr. Couper and Mr. Alstrup answered in the negative. The Acting Zoning Administrator approved Zoning Administrator Action 06-001 approving Conditional Use Permit 05-045. The Public Hearing closed and the meeting adjourned at 10:38 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
