HomeMy WebLinkAboutAction Agenda 6-7-04 ACTION AGENDA ZONING ADMINISTRATOR MEETING JUNE 7, 2004 **** CALL TO ORDER: 10:30 a.m. Community Development Department Conference Room ROLL CALL: Elizabeth Binsack, Zoning Administrator Staff present: Karen Peterson, Senior Planner Chad Ortlieb, Associate Planner Eloise Harris, Recording Secretary PUBLIC CONCERNS: (Limited to 3 minutes per person for items not on the agenda) CONSENT CALENDAR: No Items on Consent Calendar PUBLIC HEARINGS: Conditional Use Permit 04-009 - Authorization to temporarily operate a ground water pumping machine and a vapor extraction unit at an existing gas station to remove hydrocarbons from the water and soil. The project is located at 395 First Street within the Commercial as Primary Use/First Street Specific Plan zoning district. APPLICANT: Greenwood & Son Attention: Carl Greenwod PROPERTY OWNER: Vallero Gas Attention: Tim Do RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 04-006 approving Conditional Use Permit 04-009. Presentation: Chad Ortlieb, Associate Planner The Public Hearing opened at 10:35 a.m. The Zoning Administrator indicated no staff report was necessary and asked if the applicant had reviewed the report. The applicant, Carl Greenwood, was not in attendance; engineers F. Edward Reynolds and Daniel Nunez were in attendance, representing Greenwood and Son. Zoning Administrator Action June 7,2004 Page 2 The Zoning Administrator asked if either representative had any questions or concerns. Mr. Nunez indicated he had read the report, discussed the conditions with Chad Ortlieb, and everything was agreeable to the applicant. The Zoning Administrator adopted Zoning Administrator Action 04-006 approving Conditional Use Permit 04-009. The Zoning Administrator advised the representatives there is a seven-day appeal period on this item. If no appeal is submitted by June 14, 2004, permits can be pulled. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The Public Hearing closed at 10:38 a.m. The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
