HomeMy WebLinkAboutAction Agenda 2-24-03 ACTION AGENDA ZONING ADMINISTRATOR MEETING FEBRUARY 24, 2003 **** CALL TO ORDER: 10:30 a.m. Community Development Department Conference Room ROLL CALL: Elizabeth Binsack, Zoning Administrator Staff present: Doug Anderson, Senior Project Manager-Transportation Justina Willkom, Associate Planner Eloise Harris, Recording Secretary PUBLIC CONCERNS: (Limited to 3 minutes per person for items not on the agenda) CONSENT CALENDAR: No Items on Consent Calendar PUBLIC HEARINGS: 1. Conditional Use Permit 02-025 - A request to establish an accessory banquet facility at the existing Marconi Automotive Museum located at 1302 Industrial Drive within the Pacific Center East Specific Plan area. The maximum occupancy will be for 203 persons. The banquet event will be limited to seventy-two (72) events per calendar year. APPLICANT: Priscilla "Bo" Moore PROPERTY OWNER: Richard Marconi Marconi Automotive Museum RECOMMENDATION That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 03-002 approving Conditional Use Permit 02-025. Presentation: Justina Willkom, Associate Planner The Zoning Administrator called the meeting to order at 10:31 a.m. The Public Hearing opened at 10:32 a.m. The Zoning Administrator indicated a staff report would not be necessary Zoning Administrator Agenda February 24, 2003 Page 2 The Zoning Administrator asked the applicant of she read the report and agreed with all the conditions of approval. The applicant replied in the affirmative. Doug Anderson, Traffic Engineer, indicated the Public Works Department contacted the Orange County Sanitation District and, since no additional fees are due, stated the fees referred to in Condition 5.2 should be removed. The Zoning Administrator suggested that Condition 5.2 be eliminated. The Traffic Engineer agreed that eliminating Condition 5.2 would be appropriate. The Zoning Administrator approved the adoption of Zoning Administrator Action 03-002 approving Conditional Use Permit 02-025. The Zoning Administrator informed the applicant that there is a seven-day appeal period to the Planning Commission. If no appeal is received, the proposal is approved. The Public Hearing closed, and the meeting was adjourned at 10:35 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
