This plant helps me function and maintain my quality of life. It is a safe and natural option for me. I frequently travel to the LA and Orange County area. Plain leaf kratom allows me to visit my family and spend money in your region without fear of becoming a criminal simply for having a natural product that helps me live a normal life. A ban like this would harm people like me who use plain leaf responsibly. Please do not punish responsible adults. Plain leaf kratom is not the problem. Prohibition will not protect anyone. Regulation is the right answer. I have signed up to speak tonight. I am a disabled Armyveteran and I struggle with exhaustion, especially late at night. There will also be other disabled kratom consumers on this Zoom call. Because of this, I respectfully request that you consider calling this item earlier in the agenda as a reasonable ADA accommodation, so that myself and others who are disabled are able to participate. Thank you for your time, attention, and consideration. Respectfully, Marcelle Morfin Woodland, California
