HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 96-103 RESOLUTION 96-103 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DEFINING THE CITY OF TUSTIN PUBLIC SAFETY SERVICES DEPARTMENTS IN COMPLIANCE WITH ASSEMBLY BILL 2788. The City Council of The City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, Assembly Bill 2788 was passed into Statute during the 1994 Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, the Statute requires the City Council to determine which departments are to be defined as Public Safety'Services Departments; and WHEREAS, the 1992-93 adopted budget for the City's defined Public Safety Services Departments will become the base year that future years maintenance of effort calculations will be measured. NOW, THEREFORE,' the City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve, determine and define the Public Safety Services Departments for the City of Tustin as the Police Department and Fire Protection. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin held on the 7th day of October , 1996.
