HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 85-13lO 11 12 13 .14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 '23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 85-13 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN CONCERNING THE JOHN WAYNE AIRPORT MASTER EXPANSION PLAN The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows- I · The City Council of the City of Tustin supports a reasonable facilities expansion and increase in the maximum commercial carrier average daily departures at the Orange County John Wayne Airport. This position is predicated on increased aircraft noise not adversely impacting the city of Tustin. II. III. The City Council opposes consideration or selection of any alternative airport site in Orange County if such consideration or selection by the County includes Santiago Canyon or MCAS E1 Toro as potential sites for general or commercial aviation purposes-. Concerning preferential runway departures, the City Council opposes any artificial restriction on airport operations requiring aircraft departures toward Tustin for any purpose other than the safe operation of aircraft based upon wind .conditions. IV.
