HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 85-0710 11 12 12 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 85-7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE CLASSIFICATION, COMPENSATION, AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT OF NON-ADMINISTRATIVE AND NON- MANANAGEMENT SWORN POLICE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN. WHEREAS, the City management representatives have met and con- ferred with the representatives of the Tustin Police Employees Association on behalf of the non-management and non-administrative sworn pol ice personnel; and, WHEREAS, the Mee~ and Confer sessions have resulted in an agree- ment and understanding pertaining to the subject of wages, benefits and con- di tions of employment for the non-admini strative and non-management pol ice employees of the City; and, WHEREAS, the City now desires to provide salary increases and changes in benefits to said police employees of the City of Tustin; fornia, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows- of the City of Tustin, Cali- Section 1' Cqmpensation Pro all non-administrative and n increased by two and one hal and by six percent (6%) effe 1986; these salary adjustmen in the attached salary sched cl assi fi cations upon the abo step at which the employee i visions' Existing salary ranges and rates of on-management sworn police employees shall be f percent (2.5%) effective December 24, 1984, ctive the first pay peri od of calendar year ts and a special equity adjustment are reflected ule. Section 3- A. dministrative Regulations. The City Manager is authorized to issue wri~i~en administrate'ye personnel regulations designed to augment or clarify the provisions of this Resolution. Section 4- Personnel Rules and Regu. lations. The Tustin Personnel Rules and ~egulations are h~reby amend'ed in all parti"culars covered by this resolution as necessary to effect conformity with the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Tustin and the Tustin Police Employees Association effective December 24, 1984 to December 31, 1986. Section 5' Effective Date. Unless otherwise specified to the contrary in this ResolUtion all provisions shall be effective as Of December 24, 1984.
