RESOLUTION NO. 85-7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE CLASSIFICATION, COMPENSATION,
AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT OF NON-ADMINISTRATIVE AND NON-
MANANAGEMENT SWORN POLICE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN.
WHEREAS, the City management representatives have met and con-
ferred with the representatives of the Tustin Police Employees Association
on behalf of the non-management and non-administrative sworn pol ice
personnel; and,
WHEREAS, the Mee~ and Confer sessions have resulted in an agree-
ment and understanding pertaining to the subject of wages, benefits and con-
di tions of employment for the non-admini strative and non-management pol ice
employees of the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City now desires to provide salary increases and
changes in benefits to said police employees of the City of Tustin;

Section 2' Retirement C.o..m. pensation' Effective December 24, 1984, City
shall pa~ an additi~n~.'l three and one-half percent (3.5g) of the employee's
portion of the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) contribution.
Section 3- A. dministrative Regulations. The City Manager is authorized to
issue wri~i~en administrate'ye personnel regulations designed to augment or
clarify the provisions of this Resolution.
Section 4- Personnel Rules and Regu. lations. The Tustin Personnel Rules and
~egulations are h~reby amend'ed in all parti"culars covered by this resolution
as necessary to effect conformity with the Memorandum of Understanding
between the City of Tustin and the Tustin Police Employees Association
effective December 24, 1984 to December 31, 1986.
Section 5' Effective Date. Unless otherwise specified to the contrary in
this ResolUtion all provisions shall be effective as Of December 24, 1984.
PASSED AND APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
