A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY,
APRIL 10, 1984, FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF SAID
CITY AS REQUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS oF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the laws relating to General Law
Cities in the State of California, a general municipal election shall be
held on April 10, 1984, for the election of Municipal Officers'
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CA, DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS'
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the requi-rements of the laws of the
State of California relating to General Law Cities within said State, there
is hereby called and ordered held in the City of Tustin, California, .on
Tuesday, April 10, 1984, a general municipal election of the qualified
electors of said City for the purpose of electing three (3) Members of the
City Council of said City for the full tern of four years; and one (1) City
Clerk of said City for the full tern of four years.
SECTION 2. That the ballots to be used at said election shall be,
in fora and content, such as may be required by law to be used in the elec-
tion.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized,
instructed and directed to procure and furnish any and all official ballots,
notices, printed matter and all supplies, equipment and paraphernalia that
may be necessary in order to properly and lawfully conduct said election.
SECTION 4. That the polls for said election shall be open at
seven o'clock a.m. of the day of said election and shall remain open contin-
uously.' from said time until eight o'clock p.m. of the same day when 'said
polls shall be closed, except as provided in Section 14301 of the Elections
Code of the State of California.
SECTION 5. That in all particulars not recited in this Resolu-
tion, said election shall, be held and conducted as provided by law for hold-
ing municipal elections in said City.
SECTION 6. That notice of the time and place of holding said
elect'ion is hereby given and the City Clerk is hereby authorized, instructed
and directed to give such further or additional notice of said election, in
time, fora and manner as required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tustin, California, on the 19th day of December, 1983.
