PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 07-004 - A request for authorization to establish a
master sign plan for the Ricoh Industrial Park located at 1101 Bell Avenue and
1100 Valencia Avenue.

RECOMMENDATION:
That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action No. 07-002
approving Conditional Use Permit 07-004.

The Public Hearing opened at 10:37 a.m.
The Zoning Administrator asked the applicant, Mark Kuwahara, and Robert Blasco,
representing Ricoh Electronics, if they had reviewed the report and the conditions of
approval and whether or not they had any questions.
Both gentlemen answered they had read the report and had no questions.

The Zoning Administrator approved Zoning Administrator Action No. 07-002
approving Conditional Use Permit 07-004.
The Zoning Administrator indicated that this item is appealable to the Planning
Commission.
Mr. Kuwahara asked who has the right to appeal
The Zoning Administrator answered that anyone may appeal; however, since no
members of the public attended the meeting, it seems unlikely that an appeal might be
filed. Since one sign has been installed with no complaints, staff does not anticipate an
appeal.
The Public Hearing closed and the meeting was adjourned at 10:39 a.m.

The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items
are set for hearing.
