the agenda, provided the matter is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City Council.
Topic(s) in which you would like to address the City I would like to bring up the topic of the Flock cameras stationed in our city limits. They are a major matter
Council. in terms of privacy, in the power of a third -party entity that the city has no direct access to. This information
gathers not only the residents car licenses, but also captures their faces and walking mannerisms. They
are sold as a means of increasing safe surveillance for government officials and police officers, but in fact,
it furthers the divide of the community, makes residents feel unsafe, and puts the job of law enforcement in
danger of being replaced by this massive overreach. I am requesting that the city council BAN these ALPR
devices and cut all contracts. The City of Tustin is not a place where we invoke fear, nor take that drastic
step to make anyone feel unwelcome.
