YASUDA, CITY CLERK PUBLIC ART COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS AND COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION APPOINTMENT City Council approval is required for the Mayor's Public Art Commission and Community Services Commission appointments. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Mayor's appointment of Charlie Sarosy to the Community Services Commission and reappoint Erin Bruner, Kristi Martin and Medha Paliwal to the Public Art Commission. FISCAL IMPACT: There is no fiscal impact associated with this item. CORRELATION TO THE STRATEGIC PLAN: City Commission appointments contribute to the fulfillment of the City's Strategic Plan Goal D. Strong Community and Regional Relationships by promoting leadership opportunities within the community on City Commissions. BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: On March 11, 2026, Greg LeFever resigned from the Community Services Commission creating a vacancy for the remainder of his term through March 1, 2029. On April 7, 2026, the City Clerk solicited applications to fill this vacancy. At the close of the application period, a total of twelve applications were received. All three commissioners have indicated both their willingness and strong desire to continue serving for an additional term. The Mayor has appointed Charlie Sarosy to the vacant Community Services Commission position and reappointed Erin Bruner, Kristi Martin and Medha Paliwal to serve another term, subject to approval by the City Council.
