What is One
Seed
One Seed Community Garden is a
community -based garden in Old Town that
operates as a fiscally sponsored project of th
Tustin Community Foundation. The garden is '
located on land leased from the City of Tustin'
where we also maintain the adjoining {;
parkette.
One Seed's mission is to grow community
through the collective growing of food. This
takes the form of free -to -take produce
offered year round, food donations to local
organizations, and educational programming.;..;,:...

preservation, small-scale agriculture, and
community development

Biodiversity - Over 30 species of bird and over
20 species of insects seen within the garden
and parkette
Local Engagement - Collaborations with
organizations throughout Orange County
including:
• Ladera Elementary School
• UC Master Gardeners of Orange County
• UC Master Food Preservers of Orange County
• Girl Scout Troop 4287
• Cub Scout Pack 235
