Good afternoon,
Please find below an update of events for the day:
CTEH performed roaming air monitoring and analytical sampling overnight and
throughout the day.
At the time of this update, there were 61 observations for PM10
PM10 concentrations ranged from 0.001 to 0.031 mg/m3
Monitoring for PM10 will continue into the night and overnight as well.
The 24-hr TWA (from 5/22 to 5/23, 8am-8am) for PM10 concentrations from the
DustTraks are as follows:
Around the immediate vicinity of the hangar (DU1-DU12) ranged from 10 to 21
µg/m3
Around the outer perimeter and community (DU13-DU21) ranged from 12 to 21
µg/m3
One community sample from AS020 was delivered to the lab today for analysis.
In addition, we received analytical results for the following:
Metal samples taken on 5/15 were below the LOD and did not register a detection.
Community sample taken at AS020 on 5/20 did not detect any asbestos.
Due to the transition into the Maintain Stabilization phase, I am consolidating the distribution
group to include a single representative for the City and Navy. Please let me know if you would
like anyone else added to these daily updates.
