Good evening,
Please find below an update of events for the day:
CTEH performed roaming air monitoring and analytical sampling overnight and
throughout the day.
At the time of this update, there were 97 observations for PM10
PM10 concentrations ranged from 0.008 to 0.026 mg/m3
Monitoring for PM10 will continue into the night and overnight as well.
The 24-hr TWA (from 6/23 to 6/24, 8am-8am) for PM10 concentrations from the
DustTraks are as follows:
Around the immediate vicinity of the hangar (DU1-DU12) ranged from 14 to 19
µg/m3
Around the outer perimeter and community (DU13-DU21) ranged from 15 to 25
µg/m3
Two community samples from AS020 were delivered to the lab today for analysis.
In addition, we received analytical results for the following:
Community sample taken at AS020 on 6/20 did not detect any asbestos.
Of note, a brush fire was active in the area during this reporting period at Talbert Regional Park
in Costa Mesa, which led to elevated PM10 concentrations between approximately 1400 PDT
