• A comprehensive plan establishing defined water shortage stages and
corresponding actions to enhance water supplies and reduce water demand

• Consideration factors — weather, water rates, economic conditions, housing
density, & conservation
• Projecting to decrease over the next 25 years by —6%
• Local Groundwater (OC Basin) — 68% in 2025; est. 85% by 2050
• Imported Water (Metropolitan) — 32% in 2025; est. 15% by 2050
• The City's service area is projected to meet full -service demands from 2026 —
2050 under all 3 scenarios

Key Findings of City's 2025 UWMP
City has near -term (5 yrs) supply capabilities sufficient for a drought
period lasting five consecutive years
City has long-term (25 yrs) water service reliability under average
year, single dry year, five consecutive drought years
Groundwater supply is projected to meet notable share of total water
demand over the next 25 years
The City has reliability in local sources, regional groundwater projects
and storage, & projections meet demands
