HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 96-0701 RESOLUTION NO. 96-70 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, 4 CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR WATER 5 MAIN REPLACEMENTS ON KENWOOD LANE BETWEEN LA COLINA 6 AND SIERRA ALTA; SAN JUAN STREET BETWEEN UTT DRIVE AND 7 RED HILL AVENUE; MOUNT HOOD, SIERRA MADRE DRIVE AND 8 ALLEGHENY WAY NORTHERLY OF SANTA CLARA AVENUE (CITY 9 PROJECT NO. 600125); ON FOOTHILL AVENUE BETWEEN RAWLINGS 10 RESERVOIR AND HEWES AVENUE (CITY PROJECT NO. 600126); AND 11 ON ROSALIND AVENUE (CITY PROJECT NO. 600128), AND 12 AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 13 14 WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Tustin, 15 California to Contract construction for replacement of various water mains; and 16 17 WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented pans and specifications for the 18 construction of said work; 19 20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications 21 presented by the City Engineer be and are hereby approved as the plans and specifications 22 for: 23 24 Water Main Replacements on Kenwood Lane between La Colina and Sierra AIm; 25 San Juan Street between Utt Drive and Red Hill Avenue; Mount Hood, Sierra 26 Madre Drive and Allegheny Way Northerly of Santa Clara Avenue, City Project 27 No. 600125; on Foothill Avenue between Rawlings Reservoir and Hewes 28 Avenue, City Project No. 600126; and on Rosalind Avenue, City Project No. 29 600128. 30 31 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and 32 directed to advertise as required by law for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the 33 doing of the work specified in the aforesaid plans and specifications; 34 35 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this project is categorically exempt from 36 the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; Class I: Existing Facilities. 37 38 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City 39 of Tustin, held on the 1 st day of July, 1996. 40 '</~/e~o ~/~ 43 ~ra rley, Mayor 45 __ 46 Pamela Stoker, City Clerk City of Tustin RESOLUTION CERTIFICATION STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) COUNTY OF ORANGE ) ss CITY OF TUSTIN ) RESOLUTION NOo 96-70 Pamela Stoker, City Clerk and ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby certify~that the whole number of the members of the City Council is five; that the above and foregoing resolution was passed and'adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 1st day of July, 1996, by the following vote: COUNCILMEMBER AYES: Worley, Thomas, Doyle, Saltarelli COUNCILMEMBER NOES: None COUNCILMEMBER ABSTAINED: None COUNCILMEMBER ABSENT: Potts a Stoker, City Clerk
