Good morning all,
After reviewing the proposed plan to vacate Enderle Center Dr and reading the opposition
Letter, please see my response-
• The area around Enderle Center Dr. is not within the fire risk zone outlined by
CalFire. A wildfire is low risk to the area surrounding Enderle Center Dr. Thus, while
during a wildfire near Peters Cyn, residents that adhere to evacuation warnings and
follow direction given by the County Emergency Operations Center will have ample
time to leave the area when requested by officials. Historical fire molding doesn't
show fire history in the area of Enderle Center Dr. The Paso Grande Fire of 1967 was
the closet fire to the area, though the fire never reached past Skyline Drive (Lemon
Heights) from the East and Lincoln Ave in Anaheim from the North.
• The evaluation of access in and around the area of Enderle Center Dr. shows that
emergency vehicles still have access to off Yorba and Seventeenth Street. Both
access points meet all code regulations for fire apparatus width and turning radius.
Using our mapping program for response, units responding from the West would
access Vandenberg Lane from Yorba St.; units from the East would access from
Prospect Ave.
