SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 1581 DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT 2026-0002 FOR THE MARINERS CHURCH TUSTIN LEGACY PROJECT Adoption of Ordinance No. 1581 approves Development Agreement 2026-0002 to facilitate the development and conveyance of the 3.324-acre City-owned site for the Mariners Church Tustin Legacy project. eComment: Good evening, Mayor and members of the Tustin City Council. I’m here to speak in support of Mariners Church and its proposed involvement in Tustin. I believe it is important to look at what this church can bring to our community beyond simply being a place of worship. Mariners is already demonstrating a desire to be involved with the City and its residents. They have resources, volunteers, programs, and people who are willing to invest their time and energy into serving others. Those resources can provide meaningful support to local families, residents, and community organizations. A strong community is built when organizations are willing to step outside their own walls and serve the people around them. Mariners has shown that it wants to be that kind of community partner—one that contributes its resources, builds relationships with residents, and looks for opportunities to serve where there is a need. I encourage the City Council to carefully consider the positive role Mariners can play in Tustin and the potential benefits of having an organization that is committed to serving our residents and partnering with the community. Thank you for your time and for your service to the City of Tustin. -Chris Alford View and Analyze eComments This email was sent from https://tustin.granicusideas.com. Unsubscribe from future mailings
