HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 82-7610 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 82-76 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF AN ALLEY BETWEEN EL CAMINO REAL AND "C" STREET AND NORTHERLY OF SECOND STREET AND TO FIX A TIME AND PLACE OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON. WHEREAS, the initial construction of a portion of said alley was for access to parcels of land known as 175 "C" Street and 170 E1 Camino Real; and WHEREAS, said proposed office development located at 175 "C" Street and-170 E1 Camino Real will not require access from said alley; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby resolve as follows' 1. It is the intention of the City Council to vacate that portion of an alley between E1 Camino Real and "C" Street and northerly of Second Street shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. A finding that the alley is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes. 3. Reservation of easements per Section 8330 of the Street and Hi ghway Code. 4. Categorical exemption from EIR requirements. 5. A public hearing is hereby set for October 4, 1982, at 7:30 p.m., in the Chambers of the City Council at 300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California, for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. 6. This resolution shall be published once in the Tustin News, a newspaper of general ci rcul ati on publ i shed i n the di'%~ of Tustin, not less than fifteen (15) days before said hearing, and notice of said hearing shall be posted conspicuously along the line of the portion of said alley proposed to be vacated not less than ten (10) days before said hearing, not more than three hundred feet (300') apart, and not less than three (3) copies shall be posted. 7. The City Council elects to proceed under the provisions of Chapter 2, Part 3, Division 9 (Sections 8320 et seq.) of the California Streets and Highways Code. mmmmmm Mmmmm lO 13 14 15 17 18 20 22 24 25 27 28 the PASSED AND ADOPTED at 7th day of September, 1982..
