HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 96-211 RESOLUTION NO. 96-21 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA RELATING TO THE 3 COMPENSATION OF CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES 4 5 WHEREAS, thd City Council now desires to provide increases in compensation to its Confidential employees as a result of a conference with respective 6 Department Heads, and subsequent to recommendations of the City Manager. 7 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City' of Tustin, California, 8 does hereby resolve as follows: 9 Section 1. Service Recognition: Effective upon approval of Council, each employee in the Confidential Unit will receive a one time service recognition award of 10 $200 payable to the following classifications: 11 Personnel Analyst 12 Executive Coordinator Office Coordinator 13 Secretary-Personnel Dept. Clerk-City Mgr. 14 15 Section 2. Classification and Compensation Study: The Confidential Unit shall be included in the agreed-upon classification and compensation study which shall 16 be conducted on classifications in the clerical series for non-management general employees. The non-clerical positions in this unit shall be included in the compensation 17 study for all other classes. Recommended changes made as a result of the above study shall be subject to approval by the City Manager prior to implementation. 18 19 Section 3. Flexible Benefits: Effective July 1, 1995, Flexible Benefits 9.0 Contribution by the City for Confidential Employees shall be amended as follows: 21 Employee Only Employee plus One Employee plus two 29~ Dependent or more dependents 9.3 $267.00 $380.00 $478 9.4 Section 4. Holidays: Hereafter, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, 25 usually celebrated on December 24 and December 31 shall be paid as 8-hour holidays.. 96 27 28 I Section 5.
