RESOLUTION NO. 81-75
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, COMMENDING AND EXPRESSING
APPRECIATION TO DR. R. KENNETH FLEAGLE FOR HIS
CONTRIBUTIONS AND SERVICES TO TUSTIN
WHEREAS, the productive record and meritorious achievements which
Dr. Fleagle has contributed to the City of Tustin are of such outstanding
quality that the City Council feels recognition is due for his efforts and
outstanding results in service; and
WHEREAS, noteworthy among his many achievements, to mention a few,
are accomplishment of County annexations, solidification of all County islands
within the City, the very successful census certification, and the able and
efficient handling of the Community Development Department as Acting Director;
and
WHEREAS, the high environmental quality of beauty and design, the
enhancement of gracious living, and a better community life for everyone has
been brought about in great part by Dr. Fleagle's brilliant planning direction
and expertise in placing the guidelines for a better-planned community area;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council feels that Kenneth Fleagle is, without any
questionable doubt, one of the most qualified and gifted in the field of com-
munity development and planning, and his 6fforts should be made a permanent
part of the City's history of growth and expansion by designating a resolution

to this effect for an o everlasting record of recognition,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Tustin, California, hereby commends and extends appreciation to Dr. R. Kenneth
Fleagle for his expertise in handling matters under his jurisdiction, for out-
standing contributions to the City of Tustin's orderly growth and beauty, and
for the long, arduous hours and preparatory study that enabled him to bring it
all into a phase of successful completion.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tustin, California, on the 15th day of June, 1981.
