RESOLUTION NO. 81-69
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF
THE SPECIAL ANNEXATION ELECTION HELD IN SAID
CITY ON JUNE 2, 1981, DECLARING THE RESULT
THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS PROVIDED
BY LAW.
WHEREAS, a special annexation election for Irvine Blvd.-Dean Street
Annexation No. 121 was held and conducted in the City of Tustin, California,
on Tuesday, June 2, 1981, as required by law; and
WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly and regularly given in
time, form and manner as provided by law; that the voting precinct was prop-
erly established; that election officers were appointed and that in all
respects said election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat,
received and canvassed and the returns made and declared in time, form and
manner' as required by the provisions of the Elections Code of the State of
California for the holding of elections in cities; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 81-57 adopted May 18, 1981, the
City Clerk of said City canvassed the returns of said election and has certi-
fied the results to this City Council, said results are received, attached and
made a part hereof as "Exhibit A."
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That there was I voting precinct established for the
purpose of holding said election consisting of County Precinct 72-258 as
established for the holding of state and county elections.
SECTION 2. That at said special annexation election, the following
measure was submitted to the electors of County Precinct 72-258, to wit:
MEASURE
Shall the area known as "Irvine Blvd.-Dean Street
Annexation No. 121" be annexed to the City of Tustin?
SECTION 3. That the whole number of votes cast in said precinct
(except absent voter ballots) was 214.
That the whole number of absent voter ballots cast in said precinct
was 9, making a total of 223 votes cast in said election.

SECTION 4. That the measure voted upon at said election is as

That the number of votes given at the precinct and the number of
absentee votes given for and against the measure was as listed in "Exhibit A"
attached.
That as a result of said election, a majority of the qualified
voters voting on the Measure relating to Irvine Blvd.-Dean Street Annexation
No. 121 did vote against thereof, and that said proposition was defeated.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk Shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original
Resolutions of said City; and shall make a minute of passage and adoption
thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in
the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tustin, California, on the 15th day of June, 1981.

City Council of said City on the 18th day of May, 1981, do hereby certify that
I have canvassed the returns of the Special Annexation Election for Irvine
Blvd.-Dean Street Annexation No. 121 held in said City on the 2nd day of June,
1981, and find that .the number of votes given at the precinct and the number
of votes given in the City for and against the measure were as follows:

Resolution No. 81-69 was duly and regularly introduced, passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council held on the 15th day of June, 1981 by the
