RESOLUTION NO. 81-45
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, DETERMINING THE VALUE OF WRITTEN PROTESTS
AND ORDERING THE ANNEXATION OF THE AREA KNONN AS
"HOLT-HAMALA ANNEXATION NO. 127" TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN·
The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as
follows:
I. Pursuant to ChaPter 2, Part 2, Division 2 of Title 4 of the
Gove~nt Code, preliminary proc~odings were completed by the' l..~cal
Agency Formation Commission on March 11, 1981 and the City of Tustin
was designated as the conducting authority and authorized' to proce~
with ~he annexation to the City of Tustin- the area designated
"Holt-Hamala Annexation No. 127", described in Exhibit. "A" attached.
hereto, and a part hereof.
II. The City Council, pursuant to Section 35201 of the .Government Code.,
ad~::~t~' Resolution No. 81-32, initiating annexation procoodi~s ~
fixing, a time and place for a protest hearing.
III. Due notice was given and a protest hearing~ was conducted at 7:30
p.m. April 20, 1981 and 0' protest from a property owner
representing 0TM % of the t-----otal assessed value of the area
.proposed for annexation was received prior to the close of the
hearing.
IV. Pursuant to Section 35337 Of the Government Code, the City CounCi1
finds that the value of written protests is ___~% of the total
assessed value of land and improven~nts within the area and
represents less than 50 percent of the total assessed value of land
and improvements within the territory.
V..The City Council hereby orders the annexation to the City of Tustin
of the uninhabited territory designated Holt-Hamala Annexation No.
127, as specifically described in the legal description and map
attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
VI. Satisfaction of the requiren~nts of Section 99(d) of the Revenue and
Taxation Code has been accomplished by City Council Resolution No.
· 80-1 19 and Board of Supervisor's Resolution No. 80-1903 accepting a
Master Property Tax Transfer Agreement applicable to subject fully
developed area.
VII. Subject annexation shall be effective upon the filing and recording
of the certificate of completion by the Executive Officer of the
Local Agency Formation C~ssion.
VIII. The City Clerk shall transmit a certified copy of this Resolution,
along with the required fees payable to the State Board of
Equalization, to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency FOrmation
Commission for certification of oDmpletion and recording.

Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, Page 160 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows-
Beginning at. an angle point in the existing boundary 'line of the City of
Tustin, California, said. point being
