RESOLUTION NO. 80-131
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL
PLAN RELATIVE TO THE PARCEL OF LAND EASTERLY OF HOLT AVE-
NUE, NORTHERLY OF PRESENT CITY BOUNDARY TO A POINT 292 FEET
SOUTHERLY OF WARREN AVENUE.
The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows'
I. The City Council finds and determines as follows'
A. That Section 65356.1 of the Government Code of the State of
California provides that when it is deemed tO be in the pub-
lic interest, the legislative body may amend a part of the
General Plan.
That in accordance with Section 65356 of the Government Code
of the State of California, a public hearing was duly adver-
tised and held November 17 and December 1, 1980, to consider
General Plan Amendment 80-2(B) to reclassify the parcels of
land on the easterly side of Holt Avenue, northerly of pre-
sent city boundary to a point 292 feet southerly of Warren
Avenue.
B. That a Negative Declaration has been applied for and is here-
by approved.
C. That the change in classification would be in the public in-
terest and not detrimental to the welfare of the public or
the surrounding property owners.
II. The City Council hereby approves General Plan Amendment 80-2(B)
to reclassify subject parcel as identified herein (in Exhibit
"A") from the Single-family to the Multi-family classification,
subject to annexation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tustin, held on the 15th, day of December 1980.
