HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 80-091 RESOLUTI ON NO. 80-91 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS AND SCHEDULING A HEARING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "TENTATIVE TRACT MAP 11050" TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN. WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the Local Agency Format ion Commission by Beyer and Warden, Inc. for the purpose of proposin9 the annexation of certain territory .fo the city of Tustin, and WHEREAS, said territory is an inhabited area designated as "Tentative Tract Map 11050" as more fully described by the map shown as Exhibit attached hereto and apart hereof, and WHEREAS, the proposed annexation is for the purpose of authorizing the redevelopment of the property to the standards of the City of Tusfin and the receipt of full municipal services, and WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission on August 13, 1980, by Resolution No. 80-66, approved the annexation proposed as an inhabited ann.exafion, designated the City of Tustin as the conducting authority, and directed that the City Council initiate annexation proceedings. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, City of Tustin, Cali- fornia- That a public hearing on the proposed Tentative Tract Map 11050' annexation fo the city of Tusfin, will be conducted on October 6, 1980 at 7'30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 300 Centennial Way, Tusfin. That any owner of 'l'and within the territory or any registered voter residin9 within the territory proposed for annexation may file a written protest against the annexation with the City Clerk of Tusfin af any time prior fo the conclusion of the City Council hearin9 on the proposed annexation. 3. That the City, Clerk shall cause notice of the hearing on the proposed annexation to be 9iven as required by law.
