RESOLUTION NO. 80-88
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN FIXING AND DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF
REVENUE REOU!RED FROM PROPERTY TAXES OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN AND FIXING THE RATE OF TAXES ON THE
TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN
TO SERVICE THE DEBT OF THE GENERAL OBLIGATION
BONDS OF THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1980-81.
The City Council of the City of Tustin does resolve
as follows-
Section 1- That the City of Tustin has, pursuant to
law, heretofore elected to have its duties o.f assessment
and tax collection performed by the County of Orange,
through the County Assessor, Tax Collector, Auditor, and
other officials of the County of Orange.
Section 2- That the tax rates herein levied by the
City of Tustin are for the payment of voter approved indebted-
ness pursuant to Revenue and Taxation Code Section 2237(a).
Section 3- That it is determined that the amount of
$-75,00~ is the amount of money necessary to be raised by
taxation upon the taxable property within the City of Tustin,
as revenue to meet the debt service expense of the 1971 Park
Bonds for the year 1980-81. Said Bonds are General Obligation
Bonds of the City of Tustin voted and approved by the
electorate.
Section 4- That the rate of tax necessary to raise the
aforesaid, sum of money to meet the debt service expense of
the 1971 Park Bonds of the City of Tustin is the sum of $ .0408
upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the assessed
valuation of all real '~nd personal property within the
corporate limits of the City of Tustin, and that there be, and
hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year
of 1980-81 of $ .0408 upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00)
of assessed valuation of all real property within the corporate
limits of the City of Tustin excepting therefrom that portion
of the annexation described in Ordinance No. 543 South of Tract
No. 7420 and Annexation No. 71-B, Marine Corps Air Station
Helicopter described in Ordinance No. 682.
Section 5- That it is determined that the amount of $30,000
is the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon
the taxable property within the City of Tustin, as revenue to meet
the debt service expense of the Civic Center Bonds for the
year 1980-81. Said Bonds ar~ General Obligation Bonds of the
City of Tustin voted and approved by the electorate.
Section 6- That the rate of tax necessary to raise the
aforesaid sum of money to meet the debt service expense of the
Civic Center Bonds of. the City of Tustin is the sum of S .0163
upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of the assessed
valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate
limits of the City of Tustin, and that there be, and hereby, is
fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year of 1980-81
of $ .0163 upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) of assessed
valuation of all real property within the corporate limits of
the City of Tustin, exceptin~ therefrom Annexation No. 71-B,
Marine Corps Air Station Helicop%.er described in Ordinance
No. 682.

Section 7: That the City Clerk of the City of Tustin shall
certify to the County Auditor of the County of Orange, State
of California, a statement of the rate of taxes fixed herein,
to be extended to him on the 1980-81 Assessment Roll for
the collection thereof in the same manner as County Taxes.
Section 8- That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoD%ion of this Resolution and shall cause ~he same to be

published once within fifteen days after its adoption, in
the Tustin News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Tustin.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of. Tustin, held on the 18th day of
Auqust, 1980.
