RESOLUT ION NO. 79-75
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON A
PORTION OF SIXTH STREET AND TO FIX A
TIME AND PLACE OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON
WHEREAS, the initial construction of the Santa Ana
Freeway has been completed; and
WHEREAS, after said construction, a portion of said
street as it existed prior to construction was closed and
is no longer used,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the
California; does hereby resolve as follows-
City of Tustin,
i. It is the intention of the City Council to vacate
that portion of Sixth Street lying easterly of the Santa
Ana Freeway shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and in-
corporated herein by this reference, and on file in the
of'fice of the City Clerk.

or prospective street purposes.
3. Reservation of easements per Section
Street and Highway Code.

5. A public hearing is hereby set for November 5,
1979, at 7-30 p.m., in the Chambers of the City Council at
300 Centennial Way, Tustin, California, for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
6. This resolution shall be published once in the
Tustin News, a newspaper of general circulation ~ublished
in the City of Tustin, not less than fifteen (15i days be-
fore said hearing, and notice of said hearing shall be
posted conspicuously along the line of the portion of said
street proposed to be vacated not less than ten (10) days
before said hearing, not more than three hundred feet (300')
apart and not less than three (3) copies shall be posted.
7. The City Council elects to proceed under the
provisions of Chapter 2, Part 3, Division 9 (Sections
et seq) of the California Streets and Highways Code.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Council, held on the 15th day of October, 1979.

That portion of Sixth Street, 66.00 feet wide, as shown on Parcel Map recorded
in Book 106, Pages 31 and 32 of Parcel Maps, Records of Orange County,
California described as follows.
That certain portion of said Sixth Street, 66.00 feet wide, bounded on the
West by the Northwesterly prolongation of the Northeasterly line of the
Santa Ana Freeway, 200.00 feet wide, as shown on said map; and bounded
on the East by the Northwesterly, Northerly and Northeasterly continuation
of that certain curve'concave to the North.and having a radius of 51.00 feet
in the Northerly boundary of Parcel 1 of said Parcel Map.
