A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS
AND SPECIFICAITONS FOR THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF PARKING LOT AT COLUMBUS
TUSTIN PARKSITE
WHER.EAS, it is the intention of the City Council

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and
specifications presented by the City Engineer be and are
he.reby approved as the plans and specifications for the
construcltion of a parking lot at Columbus Tustin Parksite.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise as required by law
for the-receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing
of the work specified in the aforesaid plans and specifi-
cations which said advertisement shall be substantially in
the following words and figures, to-wit'
"NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS"
SEALED PROPOSALS will be received at the office of
the City Clerk, Tustin City Hall, 300 Centennial Way,
Tustin, California, until 1,1 o'clock a. m. on the 25th
day of October, 1979, at which time they will be publicly
opened and read, for performing work as follows'
Construction of parking lot at Columbus
Tustin Parksite
Bids are required for the entire work
described herein'

The foregoing quantities are approximate only, being
given as a basis for the comparison of bids, and the City
of Tustin does not, expressly or by implication, agree that
the actu.al amount of work will correspond therewith, but
reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount of
any class or portion of the work, or to omit portions of
the work as may be deemed necessary or advisable by the
Engi nee r.
Plans, specifications and proposal forms to be used
for bidding on this project can only be obtained by pros-
pective bidders at the office of the City Clerk, Tustin
City Ha!l, Centennial at Main Street, Tustin, California,
92680, upon payment of $10.00 per set which amount shall
be non-refundable.
Plans and specifications will only be mailed out upon
payment of $15o00 per set, which amount shall be non-
refundable.
In conformance with Section 37931 of the Government
Code, all bids shall be presented under sealed cover on
the proposal form provided and accompanied by one of the
following forms of bidder's security-

The security shall be in an amount equal to at least
ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. A bid shall
not De.considered unless one of the forms of bidder's
security is enclosed therewith.
A Surety Bond for payment of labor and materials will'
be required in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the
estimated to.tal contract price and a Faithful Performance
Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the
estimated total contract price in the form attached to the
contract documents. Said bonds shall be issued by a com-
pany having a rating of A+AA or better.
City of Tustin reserves the right to r. eject

the locality in which the said work herein described is to
be performed, for each craft or type of workman or mechanic
needed to execute the contract and also the general pre-
vailing rate for legal holidays, and overtime work for each
craft or type of workman or mechanic, to be as indicated in
Resolution 77-52 as previously published in a newspaper of
general circulation, and on file in the office of the City

Employer payments other than those itemized therein,
as defined in Section 1773.1 of the Labor Code, are to be
paid in accordance with the terms of the collective bar-
gaining agreement applicable to the type or classification
of the workmen or mechanics employed on the pro'ject.
Copies of all collective bargaining agreements rela-
ting to the work as set forth in the aforementioned Labor
Code~are on file and available for inspection in the office
of the'Department of Industrial Relations, Division of
Labor Sta-tistics and Research.'

the locality of the City of Tustin, California, for each
