HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 79-474 8 9 10 11 14. 18 19 20 21 31 RESOLUTION NO. 79-47 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN ADOPTING THE CITY BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING REVENUE OF THE CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1979-80 WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 1415h of the Tustin Municipal Code, the City Administrator has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed annual budget for the 1979-80 Fiscal Year, beginning July 1, 1979; and WHEREAS, the City Council, as the legislative bo~y of the ,'-- City, has reviewed this proposed budget;, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary for the efficient management of the City that certain sums of revenue of the City be appropriated to the various departments, offices, agencies and activities of the City; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows: ' Section 1: A certain document on file in three (3) copies in .the office of the City Clerk of the City of Tustin, being marked and designated "City of Tustin Budget 1979-80" said document as prepared by the City Administrator and reviewed by the City Council, is hereby adopted for' the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1979. Section 2: The following sums of money are hereby appropriated from the revenue of the City of Tustin to the following named departments, offices, agencies, and activities of the City for expenditure during the 1979-80 fiscal year. Section 4' Redevelopment Agency revenues are estimated to be' $403,000 from property tax incremental sources. The proceeds and carry-over fund balance are to be used as follows- Operational Expenses Capital Improvement' 70,45o 48,000 zi8~.45o Section'5- The City General Fund will make a $1,125,000 loan available to the Redevelopment Agency effective June 18, 1979, in order to commence its various programs and projects, which shall be repaid with eight (8) percent interest as tax increment funds are received by the Agency.
