RESOLUTION NO. 79-34
RESOLUTION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT
PUBLIC INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE REQUIRE THE SALE
OF REAL PROPERTY ON SIXTH STREET HAVING APPROXI-
MATELY 53~531 SQUARE FEET. .
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California does hereby resolve as
follows:
The City Council hereby finds and determines as follows:
That the property is not needed for any Present or prospective
public use, and is therefore exCess and surplus land.

That the public interest and convenience require the sale of said
real property-.

That the proposed sale of said reaI property was decIared and
qualified as a negative declaration under the California Environ-
mental Quality Act by Resolution of the City Council passed and
adopted at a regular meeting held on October 2, 1978.
That the real property proposed for sale"is described as ail o[
Parcel 3 as shown on the Map recorded in Book 106, Pages 31 and
32 of Parcel Maps, Records of Orange County and more commonly
described as the South side of Sixth Street iust East of the
southerly terminous of Pacific Street.
2. That any person who wishes to make an o£fer to purchase the said re.al
property may do so by submitting to City an offer in writing on the form attached
as Exhibit A, accompanied by a cashier's check in the sum of $5,000.00 payable to
the City of Tustin, at or before the time of said hearing, and any and all persons

hereby solicited for offers
That minimum bid shall be $160,000.00. Final sale shall be subject to
the normal real estate sales provisions as prepared by the City Attorney.
That the City shall reserve the right to refuse all bids.

That proposals shall be submitted no later than 3:00 o'clock p.m. on
, 1979, to the City Clerk's office, at which time the staff

p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City of Tustin at Tustin City Center, 300
Centennial \ray, Tustin, California, at which time and place any and all persons
interested in said proposed sale may appear, make or increase offers, protest the
proposed sale, and/or otherwise be heard. The City Council sh:all pass on any and
all offers and protests at said time and place.

That a copy of this resolution shall be published once a week for two
weeks in the Tustin News_, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City
of Tustln, not less than fifteen (15) days before said hearing, and notice of said
hearing shall be posted conspicuously along the line of the portion of said property
proposed to be sold not less than ten (10)days before said hearing and not less than
three (3) copies shall be posted. .
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting ot the City Council held on the
6th day of August , 1979.
