RESOLUTION NO. 79-19
A RESOLUTION OF TI-IE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIG-
NATED ANNEXATION #119, 17TH AND PROSPECT.
The City council of the city of Tustin, California.does hereby resolve
as follows-
1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Government Code of the State of
California, application was made to the Local Agency Formation Com-
mission to annex to the City of Tustin all that uninhabited territory
situated in the County of Orange, State of California, hereby
designated "Annexation #119, 17th and Prospect" as described in
Emhibits "A" and "B" and attached hereto and incorporated herein
by this reference.
2. The Local Agency Formation Co~mission, in session duly assembled,
on January 24, 1979, did approve said proposed annexation, and
authorized the City Council to annex said territory without notice,
hear;~: or elect ion.
3. The Ci%i? ~o~_ncil finds and determines that all of said territory

5. The -~z!.~ .Council desires to annex said uninhabited territory to the
City c.f Tustin for the following reasons- The territory is con--
tigucus' to the City of Tustin and its proposed annexation will
contribute to and facilitate 'the orderly growth and development of
both the city and the territory proposed to be annexed; will
facilitate and contribute to the proper and orderly layout, design
and construction of streets, gutters, sidewalks, and sanitary and
storm-water sewers and drainage facilities, both in the city and
in said uninhabited territory, in a manner most conducive to the
welfare of the city and said uninhabited territory.
6. The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby approve the
annexation of the territory h e re in above described to the City of
Tustin, and does hereby further resolve that the said territory be
and it is hereby annexed to the City of Tustin, effective upon the
date of recording by the County Recorder of the County of Orange,
California.
7. The property within the annexed territory shall be taxed to pay
the indebtedness and liability of the City contracted to or existing
at the time of annexation.
8. The City Clerk of the City of Tustin is hereby directed without
delay to transmit to the Local Agency Formation Commission of
Orange County, a certified copy of this Resolution.

TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
All that certain territory situated in the County of Orange, State of
California, more particularly described as follows-
Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerlines of Seventeenth
Street and Prospect Avenue (North), as shown on a map of Tract No. 2834
recorded in Book 84, Pages 35 and 36 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, said point of intersection also being a point on the
existin~ City of Tustin boundary as established by the ~eredith Annexation
No. 69, per Ordinance No. 512, passed and adopted July 19, 1971;
Thence, along said City of Tustin boundary and said centerline of Seventeenth
Street, S. 88o 43' 39" W., a distance of 303.67 feet to the point of inter-
section with the southerly prolongation of the westerly line of Parcel 1

Thence, leaving said City of Tustin boundary and said centerline of Seventeenth
