A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONSIDER THE
GRANTING OF A NON-EXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE FOR A CABLE TELE-
VISION SYSTEM.

The City council of the City of Tustin, California, does resolve as follows-
1. The City Council has solicited and called for applications for cable
television franchises and fixed dates by which interest could be ex-
pressed and such applications could be filed.
2. An application for such a franchise has been received from Six Star
Cablevision, Incorporated pursuant to Chapter 4, Article 7 of the
Tustin Mu~nicipal Code.

3. The report and recommendation of the City Administrator has been filed
with the City Council.
4. The City Council intends, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 4,
Article 7 of the Tustin City Code to grant a non-exclusive cable tele-
vision system franchise to Six Star Cablevision, Incorporated on the
terms and conditions as set forth in the application for a franchise
and Ordinances of the City of Tustin.
5. The f.r~nchise application proposes to provide cable television Service
to all properties within the existing and future limits of the city of
Tustin within a 5 year period following approval and authorization to
proceed. ?~enty percent (20%) of the city's area will be constructed
and provided service each year.
6. Proposed rates for the service are as follows:

7. Copies of the proposed franchise may be obtained at the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Tustin.
8. That on December 4, 1978 at 7-30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the
City of Tustin, 300 Centennial Way, is hereby fixed as the time and
place for a hearing to be held on the proposed granting of a franchise.
At such hearing any persons having an interest or objection to the grant-
ing of such a franchise may file written protests and may appear and be
heard.
9. The City Clerk is directed to publish this resolution at least once
within ten (10) days of its passage, in the Tustin News.
