PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 07-002 - A request for authorization to provide
massage and assembly services as part of an existing wellness business in a
tenant space located at 1761 East 17t" Street, Suite 101.

approving Conditional Use Permit 07-002.

The Public Hearing opened at 10:33 p.m.
The Acting Zoning Administrator asked the applicant if he had had a chance to read the
staff report and conditions of approval
Mr. Milligan responded in the affirmative.

The Acting Zoning Administrator briefly reviewed the staff report, noting that the applicant
would need to apply for a Massage Operator Permit.
The applicant indicated that he is in the process of doing so.
The Acting Zoning Administrator asked the applicant if he had any questions.
Mr. Milligan referred to Condition 2.9 and asked whether or not hosting wine and cheese
receptions would be included in the prohibiting of alcohol.
The Acting Zoning Administrator answered in the affirmative, as no alcoholic beverages
are allowed in massage establishments; stated the applicant would need to contact the
Alcoholic Beverage Control and apply for an additional conditional use permit for any
such use; and, explained that this prohibition exists in the event the property is sold and
the use were to be abused.
The applicant indicated he would not wish to apply for such a permit and would eliminate
the wine from any future receptions.
The Acting Zoning Administrator adopted Zoning Administrator Action No. 07-003
approving Conditional) Use Permit 07-002.

The Public Hearing closed and the meeting adjourned at 10:38 a.m.
