RESOLUTION NO. 78- 89
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO SELL
PROPERTY AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, 'the hereinafter described building was acquired by the City of
Tustin as part of its old Civic Center; and
WHEREAS, the said building is no longer used or needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin, California
resolves as follows:
1. It appears that the old City Hall building located on 2nd Street on the
old Civic Center at 2nd and C Streets in Tustin, California (not including the
underlying land and to be relocated by the Buyer) is unnecessary for any present or
prospective public purposes.
2. It is proposed that said building be sold as excess, unused, and unneeded
property.
3. The proposed action is declared as. qualified as a Categorical Exemption
under the California Environmental Quality Act.
#. A public hearing is hereby set for £t~,~w,~o~v~ . . .... ~. 1978, at 7:30 ~_.m. in
the Cha~.-~er..:~ of the City Council at Centennial Way and Main Street,. Tu~tin,
Cali.~ornia~ ~or hearing all persons interested in being heard or objecting to the
proposed sale.
5. A copy ot[ this resolution shall be published once a week for two weeks
in the Tusz!n News, a newspaper of general circulation published in the City ot~
TusZin, not !ess than fi£teen (15) days before said hearing, and notice of said
hearing shai'_ be posted conspicuously along the line of the portion of said property
on which sa;_d building is located not less than ten (10) days before said hearing, and
not less than three (3) copies shall be posted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Community Redevel-
opment Agency held on the 7th day of August, 1978.
