HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 07-74RESOLUTION NO. 07-74 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION / EQUIPPING OF THE PASADENA AVENUE WELL (CIP NO. 6130) AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Tustin, California to contract for the construction of a facility that will house the Pasadena Avenue Well (CIP No. 6130); and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented technical plans and specifications prepared by the project design engineer for the construction of said work; and WHEREAS, on July 17, 2006, the Tustin City Council adopted Resolution No. 06-79 which approved the Final Mitigated Negative Declaration for Pasadena Avenue Well Site Project (CIP 6130) and adopted a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, the drilling phase of the Pasadena Avenue Well Project was completed on May 24, 2007, and a Notice of Completion was approved by the City Council at its regularly scheduled meeting of July 17, 2007; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the plans and specifications presented by the City Engineer and hereby approved as the construction phase plans and specifications for: Construction/Equipping of Pasadena Avenue Well (CIP No. 6130) BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise as required by law for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals from qualified contractors for the performance of the work specified in the aforesaid specifications; PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin held on the 16th day of October, 2007.
